2025 ANZAC Day Ceremony - Runaway Bay

Join Runaway Bay RSL Sub Branch to commemorate ANZAC Day

Join the main 2025 ANZAC Day service in Runaway Bay to honour the service and sacrifice of the ANZACs and all the service members who have followed in their footsteps.

ANZAC Day marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during World War I.

In the time-honoured tradition of ANZAC Day services, the main Runaway Bay ANZAC Day Ceremony – hosted by Runaway Bay RSL Sub Branch – will include the laying of wreaths, the playing of the Last Post and the observance of a minute's silence.

Join us in a moving and respectful commemoration of the service and commitment of the original Anzac's, and all the men and women that have followed them in the protection of our great land.

Honour Guard provided by No. 221 Squadron Australian Air Force Cadets and there is participation from the local schools.

All are welcome.
