National Volunteer Week 2025
Connecting Communities
While we're thankful every day for the role volunteers play in our communities, as part of National Volunteer Week (19 to 25 May), we'll be shining an extra bright light on our volunteers’ dedication and commitment to making our communities stronger.
This year's theme is ‘Connecting Communities’, highlighting and celebrating the many ways individuals choose to give back to their community.
At RSL Queensland, we are privileged to have thousands of volunteers across the state who support veterans and their families within their community. Volunteers help RSL Queensland continue the vital work that we do, and we want to take this opportunity to recognise and thank them for their remarkable contribution.

RSL Queensland volunteers help bring communities together
RSL Queensland provides vital services to veterans and their families, and much of this work could not happen without thousands of passionate volunteers across the state.
Nambour RSL Sub Branch
John and Naomi Enchong have donated years of their time providing wellbeing support to veterans and their families across Queensland and around the world.
After joining Nambour RSL Sub Branch in 2013, John and Naomi quickly volunteered themselves as welfare officers when the Sub Branch was looking for assistance.
