2025 ANZAC Day Dawn Service - Currumbin

Join RSL Currumbin/Palm Beach Sub Branch to commemorate ANZAC Day

At dawn on 25 April 1915, ANZAC troops landed at Gallipoli, starting a legacy that would live long after them.

The ANZAC Day Dawn Service echoes this moment, and the moment many a soldier has stood to arms.

Steeped in tradition, the Dawn Service is a poignant ceremony featuring the laying of wreaths, sounding of the Last Post and observance of a minute's silence.

Join the ANZAC Day Dawn Service in Currumbin – hosted by Currumbin/Palm Beach RSL Sub Branch – to honour all Australians and New Zealanders who have served or sacrificed in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations since World War I.

CURRUMBIN RSL DAWN SERVICE

Set against the breath-taking backdrop of Elephant Rock on Currumbin Beach, the Currumbin RSL Dawn Service, considered the largest regional dawn service in Australia, returns on Friday, April 25, 2025. This annual commemoration is a heartfelt tribute to the ANZACs, as well as a solemn acknowledgment of the valiant men and women who have served in all wars, conflicts, peacekeeping missions and those still serving today. Beyond honouring the collective sacrifices, this day unfolds as a poignant narrative, delving into the personal stories of service personnel across the spectrum of past and modern conflicts. Thousands will be in attendance, standing side by side, as we join together in this reverent observance to pay respects and intimately explore the experiences that shape the legacy of our brave servicemen and women.

The march will commence at 4:35am, leading the way to the solemn dawn service at 5am. In a significant testament to the importance of this event, Channel 7 Sunrise will be broadcasting the Dawn Service Live Nationwide & Internationally, bringing the solemnity and reverence of the occasion to a broader audience. Alternatively, for a more intimate connection, we extend a heartfelt invitation to join us at our mid-morning service by the club’s cenotaph. Your presence at either event would be a cherished addition to this day of reflection and commemoration.

Event proudly supported by City of Gold Coast.

Currumbin Seawall Project is due to be completed Mid-March 2025 and will not impact the Currumbin RSL Dawn Service at Elephant Rock.
