If you are interested in preventing falls, why not try dance? Dance is exercise in disguise.

Golden Dance offers a gentle and considered multi-genre dance class suitable for older adults. Based on the principles of falls prevention with a health and wellbeing focus, participants may experience a myriad of benefits from participating including cognitive, social, physical, emotional and social.

Classes are generally conducted to assist in improving balance and strength for participants. Participants may access a hybrid mode should they need support with a chair at any time throughout the class.

The class uses a mix of solo, partner, line and circle dancing to increase engagement amongst participants.

Music that accompanies the dance exercises is befitting for the participants.
