Rec Connect – Laser Skirmish and Lunch

RSL Rec Connect – Meet, move and make for a more connected life!

RSL Rec Connect helps veterans and their families connect through a diverse calendar of recreational events. RSL Rec Connect events are held throughout the year in various locations across Queensland. Veterans and current serving Defence members, and their partners and children over 10 years of age are welcome. 

Gear up for an adrenaline-filled morning of Laser Skirmish, designed to bring the Defence community together for a fun, active, and friendly competition. 

Across this half‑day experience, participants will take part in a series of action-packed laser skirmish missions that encourage cooperation, communication, and plenty of laughs. All equipment is provided, and you’ll be guided through each scenario by experienced staff.  

After the excitement of the field, enjoy a relaxed lunch and the chance to connect with others in the Defence community. 

Requirements 

• This activity is available to Veterans, current serving Defence members, their partners, and children aged 6+. Children aged 6–10 will require a guardian to plays on the same team as the children.  

What to bring  

• Must wear long pants and covered shoes.  

• Water, bottle, hat.  

Please note that prior to the event, you will be required to complete 2 waivers, one from RSL QLD and one from the activity provider. This will be emailed to you after registration. All attendees will be unable to participate without completing both waivers.
