Rec Connect – Billabong Sanctuary - Wildlife Park Tour

RSL Rec Connect helps veterans and their families connect through a diverse calendar of recreational events. RSL Rec Connect events are held throughout the year in various locations across Queensland. Veterans and current serving Defence members, and their partners and children are welcome.

Looking for the perfect day out? Bring the whole family and enjoy a day of adventure at the Billabong Sanctuary!

Event Highlights:

• Private guided tour: Discover fun facts and hidden secrets about local wildlife during our exciting private group tour.
• Animal encounters: Meet and greet animals up close! Rangers will introduce our group to fascinating creatures that call the sanctuary home.
• Catered lunch: Lunch will be provided, allowing time to meet other local Defence community members.
• Explore at your own pace: Following the morning group activities and lunch, you will have the opportunity to explore and see the afternoon shows such as the flight bird show, dingo and wombat experiences. All attendees are welcome to stay until the park closes at 4pm or leave prior to.

Requirements:

• This activity is open to ADF Veterans, current serving Defence members, their partners and children.

Please note that prior to the event, you will be required to complete an RSL QLD waiver. All attendees will be unable to participate without completing the waiver.
