2025 ANZAC Day Ceremony - Mareeba
Join Mareeba RSL Sub Branch to commemorate ANZAC Day
Join the main 2025 ANZAC Day service in Mareeba to honour the service and sacrifice of the ANZACs and all the service members who have followed in their footsteps.
ANZAC Day marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during World War I.
In the time-honoured tradition of ANZAC Day services, the main Mareeba ANZAC Day Ceremony – hosted by Mareeba RSL Sub Branch – will include the laying of wreaths, the playing of the Last Post and the observance of a minute's silence.
The main service commences immediately after the march. There will be cordoned off areas in front of the Cenotaph and the marquees in the park, and some chairs will have reserved signs. These are for invited guests, march participants, veterans, disabled and school students.
