Hervey Bay RSL Members Camping Trip

Members and their families are welcome to join us on the Gemfields camping trip!

The Hervey Bay RSL Sub Branch is looking to hold a camping trip for members and their families to the Gemfields RSL.

Suggested dates are either the 16th -21st of April or the 29th April - 4th May 26.

Your FUN Begins HERE!

You will require your own tent, camper or caravan. There are powered and unpowered sites available. Water and showers are also available within the RSL premises. There is a fire pit, outdoor seating and a well set up camp kitchen.

The trip is open to veterans and their families and the camping area is pet friendly.

Whilst there we will introduce those who are interested to gemstone fossicking. You can either dig for your own gems or bags of wash can be purchased from various businesses in the area.

Only about 40 mins from Emerald and about an hour from Clermont where gold and gemstones can be found. (Permits required)

We would really appreciate numbers soon so we can make bookings as we don’t know how busy it will be.
