Join us to commemorate
At dawn on 25 April 1915, ANZAC troops landed at Gallipoli, starting a legacy that would live long after them.
The ANZAC Day Dawn Service echoes this moment, and the moment many a soldier has stood to arms.
Steeped in tradition, the Dawn Service is a poignant ceremony featuring the laying of wreaths, sounding of the Last Post and observance of a minute's silence.
Join the ANZAC Day Dawn Service in PIALBA – hosted by Hervey Bay RSL Sub Branch – to honour all Australians and New Zealanders who have served or sacrificed in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations since World War I.
The Hervey Bay RSL Sub Branch would like to respect, honour and remember our past and present service men and women this ANZAC Day at Freedom Park.
Veterans will form up at the RSL Club car park at 5am and step off at 5:15am to march to the Light Horse War Memorial at Freedom Park.
All welcome to attend the service at Freedom Park.
