The Cairns RSL Sub Branch is proud to host a special International Women’s Day event, bringing together members, families, and the wider community to celebrate the strength, leadership, and contributions of women, in service and beyond.

This is an opportunity to come together, share stories, be inspired, and recognise the remarkable women who shape our communities every day.

We are honoured to welcome Group Captain Kathryn Stein FACN, Director of Nursing – Joint Health Command (DNO JHC), as our special guest speaker.

Group Captain Stein will share insights from her distinguished career in Defence, leadership, and healthcare, offering a powerful and inspiring perspective on the role of women in service and leadership. Her story is one of dedication, resilience, and purpose — and one not to be missed.
