Happy Paws Happy Hearts

The Happy Paws Happy Hearts’ Defence Families Program is proudly funded by RSL Queensland. Veterans will practice animal care, and handling and training with animals from the RSPCA. Demonstrated benefits for participants include increased confidence, skills development, improved quality of life, and genuine vocational pathways. The program runs over 10 weekly two-hour sessions, and is delivered in person alongside other veteran families. Online resources are available in case enrolled participants can’t attend an in-person session.
