Emu Park
Veterans who need subsidised, independent housing in Central Queensland can apply for long-term accommodation at our Emu Park complex.
The 16 units contain:
- one bedroom with built-in wardrobe
- living area
- modern kitchen
- air-conditioning and ceiling fans
- one bathroom
- internal laundry
- undercover carpark
- private courtyard with garden maintenance provided.
The complex also features a recreation area with BBQ facilities, encouraging a sense of community among residents.

Emu Park is a small coastal town on the Capricorn Coast, located 21km from Yeppoon and 45km north east of Rockhampton.
If you have served in the ADF and can live independently, you are eligible to apply.
Housing is allocated on a needs basis, with consideration given to financial circumstances.
