Biloela Sub Branch Inc.

Introduction

The Biloela RSL Sub Branch Office is in the Biloela ANZAC Memorial Club, which is owned by the Sub Branch, and leased to the Biloela ANZAC Memorial Club. The ANZAC Memorial Park at 94 Callide Street in Biloela is a source of great pride to the Sub Branch with it’s unique Cenotaph and parkland surroundings, which are continually being updated and improved. Visiting ex-service personnel and the general public are made very welcome.

The Biloela Sub Branch is part of the Wide Bay and Burnett District of RSL Queensland. 

History

The Biloela RSL Sub Branch was founded in about 1927, and has been an integral part of the community. From our earliest years, we’ve been providing assistance and social connection to local ex-service men and women,, and supports and assists  many local associations with donations, with particular emphasis on Schools, and the local Army Cadet Unit.

Information

The Biloela RSL Sub Branch is normally open from 10.00 AM to 3.00 PM, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and staffed by a Part Time Secretary.

Assistance can be given to recently bereaved Families, in planning an RSL Poppy Service for a departed veteran’s Funeral. We can also help to direct Veteran’s enquiries to the Welfare Officer in Rockhampton.

Sub Branch office bearers can be available on Monday and Tuesday mornings to assist with membership and Sub Branch enquiries. Outside these times, our secretary can assist when the office is open.

Meetings are held on the second Sunday of each month at 10.00am in The Gallipoli Room of the Biloela ANZAC Memorial Club.
