Remember to Remember

Will you Remember to Remember?

Busy lives and competing priorities mean sometimes we can forget to take a moment out of our day to reflect and remember the dedication and sacrifice of our service men and women on Remembrance Day.

But this year, we’re asking Queenslanders to Remember to Remember – to commit to marking the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month with one minute’s silence. Switch your phone to Do Not Disturb, put aside that urgent report for just one minute, and remember.

Remember those who have given their lives in service to their country in wars and conflicts around the world. Remember those who have come home injured or ill, in body or spirit. And remember those who bravely serve our country today.

It’s just one minute. But it means so much.

Whether you’re at work or at home, we’ve made it easy for you to Remember to Remember by downloading our digital pack, including:

  • A calendar invite for your email or phone,
  • A range of digital assets to share around your workplace or office, including screen savers, social media banners and signature blocks.

If you can, we encourage you to take a bit more time out of your day to attend a Remembrance Day service near you.
