A BBQ To Remember
This Remembrance Day
Pause. Remember. Come Together.
At the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11 month, the Great War was over.
Remembrance Day is a day where all Aussies can celebrate the selfless acts of our heroes who rose to the challenge in our countries time of need. Army, Air Force, Navy, Doctors, Nurses and first responders. All have sacrificed for our freedoms.
Ironically, Remembrance Day is slowly being forgotten. in 2020 we find ourselves relying on the selfless acts of these heroes yet again. It is time to reignite our passion for Remembrance Day. Time to bring our community together around a BBQ. Time to discuss mental health. And its time to support our veterans.
Its time to have a BBQ to Remember.
- Register - register your BBQ at work, in the backyard, at the beach or join your local RSL community in their BBQ to Remember.
- Get Your Snags - visit a participating local butcher and grab your Snags to Remember.
- Host Your Event - be a good host with our COVID safe BBQ plan. Check in on your mates with the Mental Health convo starters.
- Spread The Word - check on your fundraising efforts and see where you or your corporate team is sitting on the leaderboard.
Ideally, you would host your BBQ to Remember on the morning of 11 November.
You can start fundraising as soon as you have registered your BBQ.
