Walkerston-Pleystowe Remembrance Day Service

Join us to commemorate

On Tuesday 11 November, join Walkerston-Pleystowe RSL Sub Branch for its 2025 Remembrance Day service to honour all who have served and sacrificed for their nation. 

The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month marks the anniversary of the Armistice that ended fighting with Germany in World War I. It’s a time for us to remember all who have given their lives in service, including in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations. 

The 2025 Walkerston-Pleystowe RSL Sub Branch Remembrance Day ceremony will include the laying of wreaths, the playing of the Last Post, and the observance of a minute's silence at 11am.  

RSL Queensland stands alongside veterans and their families across the country and recognises the invaluable contribution of all Defence Force personnel. 

Service will commence at 10:30am with the presentations of the bursary winners.

Then we will move into the Remembrance Day Service.

After the service, there will be light food and refreshments at the Duke of Edinburgh Hotel, 3 Dutton St, Walkerston, QLD, 4751.
