Toogoom and District Remembrance Day Service

Join us to commemorate

On Tuesday 11 November, join Toogoom and District RSL Sub Branch for its 2025 Remembrance Day service to honour all who have served and sacrificed for their nation. 

The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month marks the anniversary of the Armistice that ended fighting with Germany in World War I. It’s a time for us to remember all who have given their lives in service, including in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations. 

The 2025 Toogoom and District RSL Sub Branch Remembrance Day ceremony will include the laying of wreaths, the playing of the Last Post, and the observance of a minute's silence at 11am.  

RSL Queensland stands alongside veterans and their families across the country and recognises the invaluable contribution of all Defence Force personnel. 

Members and guests are requested to congregate at the Toogoom Cenotaph at 10:45am for a commencement time of 11:00am.

Some shade and seating will be available.

There will be a light lunch available to all persons who wish to avail themselves of the Sub Branch hospitality at the conclusion of the service.
