Rec Connect - Sandblasting Workshop

RSL Rec Connect – Meet, move and make for a more connected life!

RSL Rec Connect helps veterans and their families connect through a diverse calendar of recreational events. RSL Rec Connect events are held throughout the year in various locations across Queensland. Veterans and current serving Defence members, and their partners and children over 12 years of age are welcome. 

Learn the basics of Sandblasting in this highly rated workshop and create your own piece to take home. 

During this workshop, you will see demonstrations from glass artisan Jo Bone and be shown how to stencil, mask and sandblast a permanent design onto a glass. This workshop requires no previous experience and is a great opportunity to learn something new with other like-minded people. 

Requirements 

• This activity is open to ADF Veterans, current serving Defence members, their partners and children (must be aged over 12 years old). 

Please note that prior to the event, you will be required to complete an RSL QLD waiver which will be emailed to you after registration. All attendees will be unable to participate without completing the waiver.
