Join us to commemorate
At dawn on 25 April 1915, ANZAC troops landed at Gallipoli, starting a legacy that would live long after them.
The ANZAC Day Dawn Service echoes this moment, and the moment many a soldier has stood to arms.
Steeped in tradition, the Dawn Service is a poignant ceremony featuring the laying of wreaths, sounding of the Last Post and observance of a minute's silence.
Join the ANZAC Day Dawn Service in KALLANGUR – hosted by Pine Rivers District RSL Sub Branch – to honour all Australians and New Zealanders who have served or sacrificed in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations since World War I.
At 5:15am, veterans are invited to form up at the Bowls Club car park to march together to the Memorial Gardens for the Dawn Service at 5:30am.
Following the Dawn Service, breakfast will be available at Norths Leagues and Services Club from 6:00am until 7.15am.
You are invited to lay a wreath at the Dawn Service in remembrance of those who gave their lives for our freedom then and now.
All are welcome.
