Join us to commemorate

On Tuesday 11 November, join Nambour RSL Sub Branch for its 2025 Remembrance Day service to honour all who have served and sacrificed for their nation. 

The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month marks the anniversary of the Armistice that ended fighting with Germany in World War I. It’s a time for us to remember all who have given their lives in service, including in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations. 

The 2025 Nambour RSL Sub Branch Remembrance Day ceremony will include the laying of wreaths, the playing of the Last Post, and the observance of a minute's silence at 11am.  

RSL Queensland stands alongside veterans and their families across the country and recognises the invaluable contribution of all Defence Force personnel. 

The Nambour RSL Sub Branch invites all community members to gather at the Quota Memorial Park, Nambour at 10:30am on Tuesday 11 November 2025 to commemorate Remembrance Day.

This year our Sub Branch service will be assisted by 128 Army Cadet Unit and 207 Airforce Cadet Squadron. Wreaths will be laid to commemorate the fallen, any community members may lay a wreath.

You are encouraged to wear a poppy, Nambour RSL Sub Branch members will be selling poppies at Nambour Plaza and Coles from Saturday 8 November.
