Maryborough Remembrance Day Service

Join us to commemorate

On Tuesday 11 November, join Maryborough RSL Sub Branch for its 2025 Remembrance Day service to honour all who have served and sacrificed for their nation. 

The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month marks the anniversary of the Armistice that ended fighting with Germany in World War I. It’s a time for us to remember all who have given their lives in service, including in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations. 

The 2025 Maryborough RSL Sub Branch Remembrance Day ceremony will include the laying of wreaths, the playing of the Last Post, and the observance of a minute's silence at 11am.  

RSL Queensland stands alongside veterans and their families across the country and recognises the invaluable contribution of all Defence Force personnel. 

Maryborough RSL Sub Branch will be holding a Remembrance Day Service at the Cenotaph Queens Park Maryborough on Tuesday 11 November 2025 commencing at 10.30am.

An invitation is extended to the community:

• March in the parade.
• To attend the Service
• To lay a wreath.

The Sub Branch requires notification of your intention to attend no later than Friday 31st October 2025 for organisation purposes.  If attending could you please advise if you would like to lay a wreath, if so, do you need the Sub Branch to provide a wreath.  

If you are intending too participate in the march, you will be required to assemble at the corner of Lennox & Sussex Streets no later than 10.20am.  Road closures will be in place.  If you have special access requirements please let the Sub Branch know so we can assist.
