Magnetic Island ANZAC Day Gunfire Breakfast

Join us to commemorate

This ANZAC Day, join Magnetic Island RSL Sub Branch in ARCADIA for a gunfire breakfast. 

A long-held ANZAC Day tradition, the gunfire breakfast originates from the hot drink historically made by British, Australian and New Zealand soldiers in the morning before battle. 

It’s a chance for veterans, and communities, to enjoy shared camaraderie and pay tribute to those who have served.  

Join the marchers for traditional fortification in the Memorial Hall from 04:40 hrs before assembling outside at 05:30 for the 400m March to the Dawn Service at Alma Bay Park.
