  • Kedron-Wavell ANZAC Day Dawn Service

Australian Army soldier standing at a dawn service

    Join us to commemorate

At dawn on 25 April 1915, ANZAC troops landed at Gallipoli, starting a legacy that would live long after them.

The ANZAC Day Dawn Service echoes this moment, and the moment many a soldier has stood to arms.

Steeped in tradition, the Dawn Service is a poignant ceremony featuring the laying of wreaths, sounding of the Last Post and observance of a minute's silence.

Join the ANZAC Day Dawn Service in KEDRON – hosted by Kedron-Wavell RSL Sub Branch – to honour all Australians and New Zealanders who have served or sacrificed in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations since World War I.

ANZAC Day Dawn Service held at Lutwyche Cemetery (War Graves Section), Kitchener Road Kedron.

Assemble at 5:00am with service beginning at 5:30am

A very solemn service to remember and show respect.

    All are welcome.

Veterans and family are invited at the end of the service to our Gunfire Breakfast held at Kedron Wavell Ltd, 21 Kittyhawk Drive Chermside.
