Isis The Last Post Ceremony

Three brothers from Cordalba served in World War I, and only one returned. Samuel George Kilgour and John Kilgour were killed in action in Europe. Their names are recorded on the Isis District Roll of Honour 1914–18, as well as on the Childers Memorial Hall and Cordalba War Memorial.

The Australian War Memorial’s Last Post Ceremonies commemorate the stories behind the names on the Roll of Honour. Samuel and John Kilgour will be recognised at the ceremony on Sunday 9 November 2025 at 4:30pm.
