Join us on Sunday 9 November!
Join us on Sunday 9 November 2025 at Currumbin RSL for the return of the Mateship Run, an uplifting community event that raises vital funds for the Veterans' Support Centre.
Take on a solo event or gather your mates and tackle our unique relay!
Aligning with Remembrance Day, the event will include a unique 11.11km distance; tackle it solo or as a 3-person team; with relay runners accumulating the 11.11km by completing one of two 2.4km legs or the longer 6.31km balance. The 11.11km acknowledging Remembrance Day itself, which commemorates the signing of the Armistice to end World War One at the 11th hour, on the 11th day of the 11th month. And why 2.4km? Well, the fitness tests for the Australian Forces includes running 2.4km as part of their training. We think it's a great combination to acknowledge the past and present effort by our Armed Forces troops.
There's also a shorter 5km option and a 2.5km Junior event so everyone can be involved. There'll be some live entertainment, activities for the kids and of course food and beverage options as well so get your mates and sign up for the 2025 Mateship Run today!
Set along the stunning Currumbin Creek, the Mateship Run is a day of camaraderie, remembrance, and community spirit - whether you're running or cheering from the sidelines.
The event will be raising funds and awareness for the incredible work of the Veterans' Support Centre in supporting our servicemen and women.
Register now and be part of something meaningful.
