Join the main 2026 ANZAC Day service in CARDWELL to honour the service and sacrifice of the ANZACs and all the service members who have followed in their footsteps. 

ANZAC Day marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during World War I. 

In the time-honoured tradition of ANZAC Day services, the main CARDWELL ANZAC Day Ceremony – hosted by Cardwell RSL Sub Branch – will include the laying of wreaths, the playing of the Last Post and the observance of a minute's silence.

• The main ceremony commences with a march which will form up opposite the Ob-La-Di shop on the Esplanade Walkway at 10:45 am.
• The ANZAC Day Luncheon will be served at the RSL from 12:30 pm costing $20.00.
