Brisbane ANZAC Day Dawn Service 2026

Organised by the Anzac Day Commemoration Committee, the Dawn Service at the Shrine of Remembrance in Brisbane City is Brisbane's best attended commemoration of Anzac Day.

Join thousands of Queenslanders in a profound atmosphere of commemoration beside the Shrine of Remembrance. Share the service, The Last Post and a minute's silence, and stay in the city for the annual Anzac Day parade where current and ex-servicemen and women parade through the city centre.

The service will commence at 4:28am on Saturday 25 April, however it is recommended to arrive around 3:30am.

Please be aware that there will be road closures from 3:30–7:30 am along Ann St, Edward St, Adelaide St and Creek St. Further road closures throughout the CBD will be active until 3pm.
