Helping veterans with hearing loss improve communication and confidence

Over four sessions, ACE Your Hearing—delivered by Better Hearing Australia (BHA) in partnership with the University of Queensland—helps people with hearing loss, along with their family and friends, build confidence, learn practical communication strategies, and feel more connected in everyday life.

This newly updated version of the well-established Active Communication Education program is designed to help you handle real-world conversations more effectively, reduce listening fatigue and frustration, and get back to doing the things you enjoy.

Whether or not you use hearing aids, the program provides a supportive environment where you can learn from others, share experiences, and discover better ways to communicate together.The program is free for eligible participants and also offers an opportunity to provide feedback to help shape future delivery.

Session 1: Thurs 30th April 10am – 12 noon

Session 2: Thurs 7th May 10am – 12 noon

Session 3: Thurs 14th May 10am – 12 noon

Session 4: Thurs 21th May 10am – 12 noon
