Join us to commemorate
Join the main 2026 ANZAC Day service in BANYO to honour the service and sacrifice of the ANZACs and all the service members who have followed in their footsteps.
ANZAC Day marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during World War I.
In the time-honoured tradition of ANZAC Day services, the main BANYO ANZAC Day Ceremony – hosted by Banyo RSL Sub Branch – will include the laying of wreaths, the playing of the Last Post and the observance of a minute's silence.
Marchers to assemble at 6:40am and march off at 7:00am from the corner of Melville Place & St Vincent Road to the Banyo Memorial, corner of Royal Parade and St Vincent Road.
The Service will commence after the March at approximately 7:25am.
Refreshments follows the Service (sausage sizzle, sandwiches, cakes, tea, coffee and cold drinks).
All welcome.
