Atherton Remembrance Day Service
Join us to commemorate
On Tuesday 11 November, join Atherton RSL Sub Branch for its 2025 Remembrance Day service to honour all who have served and sacrificed for their nation.The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month marks the anniversary of the Armistice that ended fighting with Germany in World War I. It’s a time for us to remember all who have given their lives in service, including in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations.
The 2025 Atherton RSL Sub Branch Remembrance Day ceremony will include the laying of wreaths, the playing of the Last Post, and the observance of a minute's silence at 11am.
RSL Queensland stands alongside veterans and their families across the country and recognises the invaluable contribution of all Defence Force personnel.
The Atherton Commemoration Service, will comment at 1040 hours, Tuesday 11 November 2025 at War Memorial Park, Main Street, Atherton.
The Service will be conducted by Revd John Mudge MBE, and the commemorative address will be delivered by Malanda RSL Sub Branch President, Mr Gary Hunt.
