Join us to commemorate

The 2026 ANZAC Day service in Gargett marks the 109th anniversary of the Gallipoli landing – the start of Australia and New Zealand’s first major World War I campaign.

Hosted by Finch Hatton RSL Sub Branch, this ANZAC Day ceremony will include the laying of wreaths, the sounding of the Last Post and the observance of a minute's silence.

Join the Gargett community in honouring the service and sacrifice of the ANZACs and all who have followed in their footsteps.

Finch Hatton RSL Sub Branch invites you to our ANZAC Day events including:

6:55am - The parade forms up outside the Pioneer Valley Hotel and marches to the memorial where there is shaded seating for those who require it.

7:00am - All are welcome to attend the ANZAC Day service at Gargett Memorial Gate.

7:45am - The Pioneer Valley Sporting Association and Gargett Rodeo Committee are then our hosts at the Gargett Bowls Club for a free sausage sizzle and lively two-up game.
