ANZAC Day March and Main Service

Join the main 2026 ANZAC Day service in Carmila to honour the service and sacrifice of the ANZACs and all the service members who have followed in their footsteps. 

ANZAC Day marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during World War I. 

In the time-honoured tradition of ANZAC Day services, the main Carmila ANZAC Day Ceremony – hosted by Carmila RSL Sub Branch – will include the laying of wreaths, the playing of the Last Post and the observance of a minute's silence.

The morning service includes a march from the corner of Music Street and Railway Parade to the Hall at 10.45am with the service from 11am followed by lunch.
