ANZAC Day March and Main Service

Join us to commemorate

Join the main 2026 ANZAC Day service in Longreach to honour the service and sacrifice of the ANZACs and all the service members who have followed in their footsteps. 

ANZAC Day marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during World War I. 

In the time-honoured tradition of ANZAC Day services, the main Longreach ANZAC Day Ceremony – hosted by Longreach RSL Sub Branch – will include the laying of wreaths, the playing of the Last Post and the observance of a minute's silence.

Join Longreach RSL Sub Branch for ANZAC Day:

MAIN PARADE
8:30am - Fall in at the Longreach RSL Memorial Services Club
8:45am - March to step off
9am - Service Commences
