ANZAC Day March and Main Service
Join us to commemorate
Join the main 2026 ANZAC Day service in Mackay to honour the service and sacrifice of the ANZACs and all the service members who have followed in their footsteps.
ANZAC Day marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during World War I.
In the time-honoured tradition of ANZAC Day services, the main Mackay ANZAC Day Ceremony – hosted by Mackay RSL Sub Branch – will include the laying of wreaths, the playing of the Last Post and the observance of a minute's silence.
Assemble in the Caneland Central ground level car park off Matsuura Drive at 8am for the parade. March steps off at 8.30am followed by the Main Service. All are welcome. |
