Join the main 2026 ANZAC Day service in Airlie Beach to honour the service and sacrifice of the ANZACs and all the service members who have followed in their footsteps. 

ANZAC Day marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during World War I. 

In the time-honoured tradition of ANZAC Day services, the main Airlie Beach ANZAC Day Ceremony – hosted by Airlie Beach-Whitsunday RSL Sub Branch – will include the laying of wreaths, the playing of the Last Post and the observance of a minute's silence.

Main Service: meet at Broadwater Avenue carpark at 8.45am for the march to Airlie Esplanade Cenotaph
