Join us to commemorate

Join the main 2026 ANZAC Day service in Howard to honour the service and sacrifice of the ANZACs and all the service members who have followed in their footsteps. 

ANZAC Day marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during World War I. 

In the time-honoured tradition of ANZAC Day services, the main Howard ANZAC Day Ceremony – hosted by Howard District RSL Sub Branch – will include the laying of wreaths, the playing of the Last Post and the observance of a minute's silence.

• 5:15am Cemetery Poppy Placing

• 7:15am Assemble RSL Hall March to Cenotaph

• 7:30am Main Service

• 8:20am Community Breakfast behind RSL Hall
