Join the main 2026 ANZAC Day service in Finch Hatton to honour the service and sacrifice of the ANZACs and all the service members who have followed in their footsteps. 

ANZAC Day marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during World War I. 

In the time-honoured tradition of ANZAC Day services, the main Finch Hatton ANZAC Day Ceremony – hosted by Finch Hatton RSL Sub Branch – will include the laying of wreaths, the playing of the Last Post and the observance of a minute's silence.

Finch Hatton RSL Sub Branch invites you to our ANZAC Day events including:

6:15pm - Attendees wishing to march will form up and march behind the Mackay and District Pipe Band and veterans at 6:15pm outside Finch Hatton RSL Hall.

6:20pm - The service is at the cenotaph starting at 6:20pm with a feature being the active participation of 122 ACU as they attend the cenotaph.

People wishing to attend should aim on arriving by 6:00pm to allow for parking before the road is closed to allow for the ceremony to proceed.
