Join us to commemorate

Join the main 2026 ANZAC Day service in Mt Isa to honour the service and sacrifice of the ANZACs and all the service members who have followed in their footsteps. 

ANZAC Day marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during World War I. 

In the time-honoured tradition of ANZAC Day services, the main Mt Isa ANZAC Day Ceremony – hosted by Mount Isa RSL Sub Branch – will include the laying of wreaths, the playing of the Last Post and the observance of a minute's silence.

Join Mt Isa RSL Sub Branch for our following ANZAC Day events:

10:00am - Morning Service (Civic Gardens, Memorial Cenotaph, 23 West Street)

11:00am - Irish Club – Buffet lunch from 11:30am
