ANZAC Day Gunfire Breakfast

Join us to commemorate

This ANZAC Day, join Isis RSL Sub Branch in Childers for a gunfire breakfast. 

A long-held ANZAC Day tradition, the gunfire breakfast originates from the hot drink historically made by British, Australian and New Zealand soldiers in the morning before battle. 

It’s a chance for veterans, and communities, to enjoy shared camaraderie and pay tribute to those who have served.  

Join Isis Sub Branch for an ANZAC Day Gunfire Breakfast:

• Gunfire breakfast from 4:00am - Childers RSL

Followed by an ANZAC Day March: 

• Parade assembles 4:40am - Childers RSL

• Parade marches 4:50am - from Childers RSL to Memorial Precinct (Krupp Cannon)

• Mounting of the Catafalque Party 5:00am (TBC)

Followed by an ANZAC Day Dawn Service: 

• Dawn service 6:00am
