    Join us to commemorate

This ANZAC Day, join Gayndah RSL Sub Branch in Gayndah for a gunfire breakfast.

A long-held ANZAC Day tradition, the gunfire breakfast originates from the hot drink historically made by British, Australian and New Zealand soldiers in the morning before battle.

It’s a chance for veterans, and communities, to enjoy shared camaraderie and pay tribute to those who have served.

Join Gayndah RSL Sub Branch to commemorate ANZAC Day:

    • 6:00am - Gunfire Breakfast at Gayndah RSL Hall - for RSL members, other service personnel and invited guests.
    • 8:00am - Gooroolba Parade - Assemble at the Gooroolba Memorial - Bus for veterans departs the Gayndah RSL Hall at 7:30am.

    • 9:45am - March - Assemble near Court House - Capper Street, Gayndah. March starts at 10:00am to the Gayndah Cenotaph.

    • 10.15am - Commemorative Service - community organisation representatives and relatives are invited to lay a wreath.
