    ANZAC Day service

    Join us to commemorate

This ANZAC Day, join Mount Isa RSL Sub Branch in Mt Isa for a gunfire breakfast.

A long-held ANZAC Day tradition, the gunfire breakfast originates from the hot drink historically made by British, Australian and New Zealand soldiers in the morning before battle.

It’s a chance for veterans, and communities, to enjoy shared camaraderie and pay tribute to those who have served.

Join Mt Isa RSL Sub Branch for our following ANZAC Day events:

7:00am(ish) - Gunfire breakfast kindly provided by APEX, free for all veterans, their families and helpers with the commemorative services. Civic Centre Foyer.

9:00am - Form up in vicinity of Isa Bridge if marching

9:30am - ANZAC Parade steps off

10:00am - Morning Service (Civic Gardens, Memorial Cenotaph, 23 West Street)

    11:00am - Irish Club – Buffet lunch from 11:30am

    Everyone please join us.
