  • ANZAC Day Dawn Service

Australian Army soldier standing at a dawn service

    Join us to commemorate

At dawn on 25 April 1915, ANZAC troops landed at Gallipoli, starting a legacy that would live long after them.

The ANZAC Day Dawn Service echoes this moment, and the moment many a soldier has stood to arms.

Steeped in tradition, the Dawn Service is a poignant ceremony featuring the laying of wreaths, sounding of the Last Post and observance of a minute's silence.

Join the ANZAC Day Dawn Service in Wallangarra – hosted by Wallangarra RSL Sub Branch – to honour all Australians and New Zealanders who have served or sacrificed in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations since World War I.

Join Wallangarra RSL Sub Branch for the following ANZAC Day Services:

    • 5.30 am Service at Wallangarra RSL, Barrawell Street followed by a pilgrimage to Cemetery
    • 6.30 am Gunfire Breakfast

    • 11.30 am March from RSL

    • 12.00 noon Service at School of Arts, Wallangarra followed by luncheon at Wallangarra RSL Hall

    All are welcome.
