    Join us to commemorate

    At dawn on 25 April 1915, ANZAC troops landed at Gallipoli, starting a legacy that would live long after them. 

    The ANZAC Day Dawn Service echoes this moment, and the moment many a soldier has stood to arms. 

    Steeped in tradition, the Dawn Service is a poignant ceremony featuring the laying of wreaths, sounding of the Last Post and observance of a minute's silence.

    Join the ANZAC Day Dawn Service in Mitchell – hosted by Mitchell RSL Sub Branch – to honour all Australians and New Zealanders who have served or sacrificed in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations since World War I.

    Join Mitchell RSL Sub Branch for our ANZAC Day events:

    • 6:00am – Dawn Service at Mitchell Memorial Park

    • 10:00am – Assemble for March at Mitchell Shire Hall

    • 10:30am – March from Mitchell Shire Hall to Mitchell Memorial Park Cenotaph

    • 11:00am – Service at Mitchell Memorial Park

    All are welcome.
