    Join us to commemorate

At dawn on 25 April 1915, ANZAC troops landed at Gallipoli, starting a legacy that would live long after them.

The ANZAC Day Dawn Service echoes this moment, and the moment many a soldier has stood to arms.

Steeped in tradition, the Dawn Service is a poignant ceremony featuring the laying of wreaths, sounding of the Last Post and observance of a minute's silence.

Join the ANZAC Day Dawn Service in Stanthorpe – hosted by Stanthorpe RSL Sub Branch – to honour all Australians and New Zealanders who have served or sacrificed in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations since World War I.

Stanthorpe is awake at 5:30am with the firing of the cannon to commence our Dawn Service for ANZAC Day 2026.

    All are welcome.

At the conclusion of this service, we welcome everyone to join us at the RSL Services Club for Gunfire Breakfast.

Breakfast is free for veterans and service members who are wearing their medals and for guests the cost is $5 per person.
