Join us to commemorate
At dawn on 25 April 1915, ANZAC troops landed at Gallipoli, starting a legacy that would live long after them.
The ANZAC Day Dawn Service echoes this moment, and the moment many a soldier has stood to arms.
Steeped in tradition, the Dawn Service is a poignant ceremony featuring the laying of wreaths, sounding of the Last Post and observance of a minute's silence.
Join the ANZAC Day Dawn Service in Surfers Paradise – hosted by Surfers Paradise RSL Sub Branch – to honour all Australians and New Zealanders who have served or sacrificed in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations since World War I.
The President and Board of the Surfers Paradise RSL Sub Branch Inc. cordially invite you to join us in commemorating ANZAC Day.
This solemn occasion provides an opportunity for us to come together as a community to honour the courage, sacrifice, and legacy of our servicemen and women.
Arrival: From 4:45 am – Beach Road, Surfers Paradise (in front of Subway).
March Commences: 5:00 am sharp.
Followed by the Gunfire Breakfast at Diggers and Sports Club (formerly Surfers Paradise RSL). Gold Coin Donation or FREE for current RSL QLD Card Holders.
