Toowong Remembrance Day Service

Join us to commemorate

On Wednesday 11 November, join Toowong RSL Sub Branch for its 2026 Remembrance Day service to honour all who have served and sacrificed for their nation. 

The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month marks the anniversary of the Armistice that ended fighting with Germany in World War I. It’s a time for us to remember all who have given their lives in service, including in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations. 

The 2026 Toowong RSL Sub Branch Remembrance Day ceremony will include the laying of wreaths, the playing of the Last Post, and the observance of a minute's silence at 11am.  

RSL Queensland stands alongside veterans and their families across the country and recognises the invaluable contribution of all Defence Force personnel. 

The Toowong RSL Sub Branch invites you and your guests to the Toowong RSL Remembrance Day Service commencing at 10:30am on Wednesday, 11 November 2026.

The service will be held at the Toowong Cenotaph on top of the hill in Toowong Memorial Park off Sylvan Road, Toowong.

Light refreshments will be served after the service.
