Join the Kawana Waters RSL Sub Branch to commemorate.
On Wednesday 11 November, join Kawana Waters RSL Sub Branch for its 2026 Remembrance Day service to honour all who have served and sacrificed for their nation.
The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month marks the anniversary of the Armistice that ended fighting with Germany in World War I. It’s a time for us to remember all who have given their lives in service, including in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations.
The 2026 Kawana Waters RSL Sub Branch Remembrance Day ceremony will include the laying of wreaths, the playing of the Last Post, and the observance of a minute's silence at 11am.
RSL Queensland stands alongside veterans and their families across the country and recognises the invaluable contribution of all Defence Force personnel.
The Kawana Waters RSL Sub Branch Remembrance Day Commemoration Service will be conducted at a Temporary Cenotaph in the parkland on the southern side of the Kawana Surf Club at 99 Pacific Blvd Buddina. The service WILL NOT BE AT OUR EXISTING CENOTAPH. We request those attending are requested to be seated by 10:45am in readiness for the service commencement at 10:55am.
There is a dropoff area in carpark immediately adjacent to the parkland for those veterans and attendees who have mobility issues.
