Remembrance Day Service - Nambour

Join the Nambour RSL Sub Branch to commemorate.

On Wednesday 11 November, join Nambour RSL Sub Branch for its 2026 Remembrance Day service to honour all who have served and sacrificed for their nation.

The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month marks the anniversary of the Armistice that ended fighting with Germany in World War I. It’s a time for us to remember all who have given their lives in service, including in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations.

The 2026 Nambour RSL Sub Branch Remembrance Day ceremony will include the laying of wreaths, the playing of the Last Post, and the observance of a minute's silence at 11am.

RSL Queensland stands alongside veterans and their families across the country and recognises the invaluable contribution of all Defence Force personnel.

Nambour RSL Sub Branch will once again hold its annual Remembrance Day service at Quota Park, Nambour on Wednesday, November 11 at 10.30 am. We encourage the public to come along and join with us as we remember the young men and woman who made the ultimate sacrifice in all conflicts over the years and to those who came home but never really left the war behind. If you would like to lay a wreath on behalf of your organisation on the day, please contact the sub branch Secretary prior to the event.
