Remembrance Day Service - St George

Join the St George RSL Sub Branch to commemorate.

On Wednesday 11 November, join St George RSL Sub Branch for its 2026 Remembrance Day service to honour all who have served and sacrificed for their nation.

The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month marks the anniversary of the Armistice that ended fighting with Germany in World War I. It’s a time for us to remember all who have given their lives in service, including in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations.

The 2026 St George RSL Sub Branch Remembrance Day ceremony will include the laying of wreaths, the playing of the Last Post, and the observance of a minute's silence at 11am.

RSL Queensland stands alongside veterans and their families across the country and recognises the invaluable contribution of all Defence Force personnel.

RSL Queensland St George Sub Branch invites the community to honour the service and sacrifice of all Australians who have served in war, conflict and peacekeeping operations.

• Community to gather at 10.15am

• Ceremony commences at 10.30am

• Last Post and one minute's silence at 11.00am

Lest we forget.
