On Wednesday 11 November, join Currumbin/Palm Beach RSL Sub Branch for its 2026 Remembrance Day service to honour all who have served and sacrificed for their nation. 

The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month marks the anniversary of the Armistice that ended fighting with Germany in World War I. It’s a time for us to remember all who have given their lives in service, including in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations. 

The 2026 Currumbin/Palm Beach RSL Sub Branch Remembrance Day ceremony will include the laying of wreaths, the playing of the Last Post, and the observance of a minute's silence at 11am.  

RSL Queensland stands alongside veterans and their families across the country and recognises the invaluable contribution of all Defence Force personnel.

 

On Wednesday 11 November 2026, Currumbin Palm Beach RSL Sub Branch will hold a Remembrance Day Service at the Currumbin RSL Cenotaph to honour those who died or suffered in all wars and conflicts.

• Guest arrival from 9.45am

• Service commencing at 10.10am

Everyone is welcome – no registration required.

After the cenotaph service, we invite all veterans, Sub Branch members, and their partners/families to join us for a special complimentary two-course Luncheon in Waterside Events (upstairs at Currumbin RSL).

Free luncheon for Currumbin Palm Beach RSL Sub Branch members, veterans and partners/carers.

The Luncheon begins at 12.30pm and is our way of saying thank you. It’s more than just a meal, it’s a chance to sit down together, share stories, reconnect with old mates, and enjoy the company of those who understand the importance of this day.

You’ll enjoy a delicious two-course menu prepared by our chefs, table service, and the warm camaraderie of fellow veterans and their families. Whether you’ve attended before or are coming along for the first time, this luncheon is a moment to relax, reflect, and celebrate the bonds of service and community.
